Renewal Overview
God wants us to live life to the fullest, but past pain, mistakes and everyday struggles can keep us from stepping into the new life He promises in 2 Corinthians 5:17:
"Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun."
Renewal is designed to help you live out your new life in Christ by removing what holds you back and giving you practical steps and spiritual truths to grow closer to God. Renewal only takes place in the summer and groups meet in homes, at the church and around the community.
Renewal includes two vital components:
- An eight-week Community Group study
- A powerful two-day event called Renewal Conference

We'll use your responses to place you in a group that best fits your schedule and preferences and will contact you the week before groups begin.

To attend, you’ll need to be part of a Renewal Group and complete the eight-week study beforehand. Because this conference is a pivotal part of Renewal, we recommend waiting until next semester if you can’t commit to being there.

How do I join a Renewal group?
Just click the button above and fill out all the information in the corresponding form. Our desire is to put you into a group that meets your needs according to your schedule. When and where do Renewal groups meet?
Renewal Groups meet at different times and locations throughout the week, some in homes, church and around the community.
When and where is Renewal Conference?
Renewal Conference happens at City Point Church at the end of the eight-week summer study.

Is childcare provided at Renewal Conference?
No, childcare is not available due to the length and format of the event.
I want to participate but can't attend Renewal Conference. What should I do?
Since Renewal Conference is a key part of the experience, we recommend waiting to join until a future semester when you can attend the full weekend.
I will be out of town some during the study. Can I still participate?
Yes, as long as you'll be here for Renewal Conference. We ask that you don't miss more than two group meetings during the semester. If you know you'll miss more than that, it's best to wait and jump into Renewal next time around.
What's the time commitment for Renewal
Renewal does include a bit more homework than a typical Community Group. Expect to spend about 20-30 minutes each week on reading & reflection.
What does it cost to participate?
The cost for the full Renewal experience is $50 per person, which includes your Renewal Workbook and Renewal Conference registration.
To make things flexible, payment can be made anytime before the Renewal Conference.

Is Renewal open to everyone 18+?
Yes! Renewal is open to adults ages 18+ and we plan to offer co-ed, men’s, and women’s groups.
We may also offer select Renewal groups for High School juniors and seniors who have a desire to grow deeper in their faith journey. Student group availability may vary.
