WHY WE EXIST

Our vision is to keep church simple. Life is busy & complicated but church doesn't have to be. Whether you’re new to church, have been a Christian for many years, or are looking for a fresh start, you’re welcome here. Our hope is to be a refuge from the craziness of life and experience a fresh, enjoyable connection to God and a community of people. We keep our focus simple so we can have the biggest impact possible. Weekend Services

More than just practicing a religion, God wants a relationship with us. Our weekend services are where we focus on that relationship. Whether you are new to your faith, have questions or have been a Christ follower for a long time, our services are a safe place to learn more about what it means to know God and grow closer to Him.

Connection Point

We're all an important part of God's plan, and our life will never make sense until we discover our purpose. Connection Point is designed to help us take steps in the important process of discovering our purpose, and their are opportunities to attend one every other month at City Point.

FIND FREEDOM

Community Groups

One of the ways God designed for us to live in freedom, is to have individuals in our life to help us along in our journey. Whether it's to help encourage or keep us accountable. Connecting with other people in a Community Group is a practical and enjoyable way to find that freedom and help develop true & lasting life-change.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Point Team

God's ultimate plan for our life is to make a difference in the lives of others. When we do, the Bible tells us we will experience joy. Through our Point Team, we hope to connect every person to an opportunity to live out their calling by using their gifts and talents to serve others in the church and local community.

Senior Pastor

Pastor Eddie and Julie Woods are high school sweethearts and have three great kids, Madison, Allyson and Hudson. Both have served in full-time ministry for over 30 years with a broad scope of ministry experience: Youth Pastors, Senior Associate Pastors and Lead Pastors in California.

The Woods have always had a desire to build the kingdom of God through the local church. Pastor Eddie and Julie are dedicated to showing people the love of Jesus as well as helping them become fully devoted followers of Christ. They also share a deep passion for worship, God’s word, and extending a loving hand to the lost and hurting people in the Allen area, as well as around the world.

In preparation to start City Point Church, Pastor Eddie & Julie went through a training process with the Association of Related Churches (ARC) based in Birmingham, Alabama, which has launched hundreds of churches across the United States.
