What is Care Ministry?
Care Ministry is how we at City Point provide comfort, healing & hope for those who are facing difficult times. We offer several different levels of care to help best serve you & your needs:
Find The Care You Need

Griefshare & Care Groups
Care Groups are Community Groups that specialize in specific areas of support. These groups operate within our Spring & Fall Semesters.

Care Ministers
A Care Minister is a trained member who has been carefully selected to provide emotional and spiritual care to those who have experienced a crisis.

Pastoral Guidance
Pastoral guidance is offered by our Pastoral Staff and they provide spiritual care and guidance to those who struggle to find God in the midst of their life circumstances.

Professional Counseling
We have partnered with licensed professionals who are equipped to counsel for every life stage. Sessions will usually take place off campus.
Interested In Becoming A Care Minister?
We all experience challenges in life - times when we could benefit from the support of a caring Christian friend. Care Ministers are those who are ready to provide emotional & spiritual care to people who have experienced a crisis (divorce, grief, job loss, hospitalization, relocation, or loneliness).
Care Ministers are not licensed counselors, but they do receive 50 hours of special training in providing high-quality, distinctively Christian care. So if you have the desire to be a caring Christian friend who listens, prays, supports & encourages, then begin your journey today!
