Sunday Service Updates | March 17, 2020
Due to the latest recommendations by the Federal government, the CDC and several local municipalities, we have several updates concerning certain aspects of our church community.

We love you and are praying for you and your families. Let’s take all our anxieties/worries and turn them into prayers! Prayers for our first responders, our medical community, for those who’ve been directly impacted by the virus and of course for a miraculous cure from heaven! COVID-19 may be changing the way we meet but it will never change our faith in God and our heart for people. See you guys this weekend online!
Services
- We’ve decided not to hold any in-person services this weekend. Instead, we will have service online at citypointchurch.com. This is a great opportunity to connect digitally with all who call City Point their home and worship together online. Our weekend service will air during our normal service times at 9:30AM & 11:00AM and can be replayed any time after that on our Youtube page. We are also looking into online options for our City Kids and Uprise Youth. Follow us on facebook and instagram to see updates and when we will go live with those experiences.
- While we are still hoping for the best, there is a high probability that this may have an effect on our in-person Easter experiences. Nothing can stop us celebrating the resurrection of our Lord & Savior but we will be wise and abide by recommendations from both federal & local government officials.
Events
- As of right now, all events have been suspended until further notice. This also includes our Heart for the House offering, which was supposed to be taken up this Sunday, March 22nd. We are monitoring the situation closely and hope to reschedule soon.
Community Groups
- We are going to abide by the recent federal government suggestion and suspend all in-person Community Group meetings (10+ people) for the next 15 days. We understand that Collin County has not made this stance but we want to make sure we are doing our part to help flatten the curve in our community. During this time, we are equipping our Group Leaders to still facilitate communities digitally. Again, if you or anyone you know has been impacted by COVID-19, please email us at info@citypointchurch.com and let us know so we can make sure they are getting the help & resources they need.
