Christmas at City Point

Come celebrate the Christmas Season at City Point this year!

Celebrate Christmas at City Point! We have a special month planned for the whole family at City Point Church. We would love for you to join us this holiday season as we celebrate the joy of Christ’s birth. Our services are casual – our music fresh and upbeat – our kid’s programs are exciting, and we love being a part of our community. We still teach timeless truths that can help you every day. Come as you are and join us this Christmas!

December 6th

Ugly Sweater Sunday

Join us as we kickoff the holiday season by wearing your best ugly Christmas sweater to City Point on Sunday, December 6th during both services. Our hospitality team will be serving Hot Chocolate, Coffee and Donuts. We want to see those ugly sweaters shine – or if you love holiday sweaters then wear your cute sweater and show off your love for Christmas. Invite a friend and let’s be ugly together!

December 13th

Christmas at the Movies

“Maybe Christmas (he thought) doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more.” — The Grinch
On Sunday, December 13th we are taking our services to the movies with the live action movie, The Grinch. We will have popcorn, candy, sodas and of course – a message from Pastor Eddie inspired by the movie. Invite your friends and family and join us for a City Point Christmas tradition.

December 20th

Selfies with Santa

Here comes Santa Claus!!
Santa is back at City Point on Sunday, December 20th during all services. Come ready to smile with the big guy himself and snap a selfie with you and your kiddos at our photo booth.
Santa will begin taking photos in our Hope Lobby (City Kids entrance) beginning at 9:30am until 1:00pm.
Your images will be posted to our Facebook page for you to download.

December 20th

Kid’s Christmas Parties

We will be celebrating Christmas in all of our kids classes on Sunday, December 20th during both services. There will be games, prizes and a celebration of the birth of Jesus – along with the telling of the Christmas story. Bring the kids and we’ll see you there!

December 23rd & 24th

Christmas Eve Services

Our theme this year is, “God With Us”. After walking through 2020 – we can all agree that what we need more than anything is knowing that no matter what, our God is there – He is with us. We invite you and your family to celebrate the joy and peace of Christmas with the people of City Point at our annual Christmas candlelight services. These one-hour services will include a wondrous telling of the Christmas story and leave you filled with gratitude and joy as you spend time with your loved ones this holiday season. This year we are offering 2 (in-person) service times beginning on December 23rd at 7pm and December 24th at 5pm. This is a family style service – there will be no childcare or kids services.
*these services will not be streamed LIVE online but will be available to view beginning on December 25th.

December 27th

No Services

After the busy Christmas season, we like to honor our volunteer teams by not having in-person services the Sunday after Christmas. Enjoy the day with your family!

We want your kids to love church! That’s why we are committed to creating safe and fun environments where your children are taught about the Bible and the love of Jesus through relevant, age-appropriate kids services. Our ultimate hope is to see a generation of children come to know God at an early age.

A Great Place For Kids!

As you and your child approach our check-in desks, you will be greeted by a member of our City Kids Check-In Team. You will receive a nametag for your child and a corresponding security tag for yourself at our computerized check-in location. Please alert check-in personnel of any information that will help in caring for your child, such as allergies and special needs. You will then take your child to their designated classroom. Please note that parents are not allowed in these classrooms without a corresponding security tag. All City Kids Point Teamers have been through a screening process to ensure the safety of your child.

Make your first visit easier by pre-registering your child online before you arrive.

We are extremely passionate about our worship music. We pray that you will love it just as much as we do!

Our vision is to keep church simple. Life is busy and complicated, and we believe a church should be a refuge from the craziness of life in the 21st century. We have four areas we want to help people with to know God, find freedom, discover their purpose and make a difference. Our hope is that we can help people take the next step in their walk with Christ.
